1979 Volkswagen Super beetle Convertible- 1 longtime owner and low low miles!!! 1979 Volkswagen with 23,000 original miles (exempt on title). One longtime owner for 30 + years. She traded the car in at a Dodge Dealership and I ended up with it. Always stored inside and was well taken care of. Runs and drives like a dream - it won't win any drag races, but it rides great at freeway speeds. By the way, this is a Karmen model which is built in West Germany. Call or email me for details or questions: 904-553-8355 Exterior: When I purchased the car, it was mostly original paint and in poor shape. (the body was perfect - no rust ever) Floorpans also perfect. It is such a nice car, that the first thing I did was take it to my paint shop and have them do a quality respray on the car. It came out excellent and really makes the car pop. Brand new perfect paint and new fender seals, new windshield seal, etc. Bumpers are original and excellent, wheels are original, tires are brand new. Convertible top is excellent except for a cut which has been repaired on the right side. I may replace the top or get a better repair job done. Interior: All interior excellent. original carpet, even has the original cocoa floor mats. The seats may have been recovered or are excellent original. The headrests have been recovered. The stereo has been upgraded to cd player, but the original radio is included in the trunk. All safety belts work properly, the glass rolls up and down correctly and is in excellent shape. I will take the car to Hilltop Motors (a local VW shop) for a clean bill of health before handing off the car to it's new owner. Mechanical: Everything works as it should. No noises or vibrations. Car to be inspected by a local VW shop to insure the new buyer's satisfaction. I ask for a $250 non refundable deposit via paypal upon completion of auction. Car is located in Jacksonville, Florida.
