Vehicle Detail
My tow truck is up for sale; getting out of racing. '03 F250 Crew Cab, XLT black leather, 6.0 Powerstroke, Longbed 120k miles ATS Stage 4 Built Trans - 2000 miles on rebuild ($5500 transmission!) ATS 5 Star converter SCT Xcal 2 Custom Innovative Diesel Tunes - Xtreme Street, Xtreme Race and Towing (Truck is very fast for a diesel pickup, ran a best of 13.89 @ 101 on stock size tires with previous owner) 2.5" Leveling kit up front Intake and Turboback exhaust 16" Eagle Alloy Rims and 315/75/16 tires in good condition with tons of life New front driveshaft Newly rebuilt rear - 500 miles on rebuild New ball joints, sway bar end links, shocks all around Turbo had been rebuilt around 100k miles, along with new injectors, p/s pump, radiator, water pump, etc. All this was performed when the previous owner had it Full '05-'07 front end swap and Cowl hood Black HD style Headlights 5" Stacks Mechanical Hubs up front Few issues, things I've just dealt with and could fix if necessary: Vacuum pump - means the heat stays on defrost - $100 part, plugs in Fuel Gauge - Sender is stuck on full. I go 300 miles and fill it up. Not sure on price, didn't feel like dropping the tank and it's never been a bother. Truck doesn't like the cold. Never had a diesel before so it could just be normal. Once the truck warms up it runs like normal. This truck is utility vehicle and has been used like one. It's not the prettiest, it has scratches chips and dents. The truck is well worn, but for a burly diesel it is in very good mechanical order. I've towed my car 400 miles with it in a single trip without hesitation, going 75+ on the highway with the trailer like it wasn't even there. The price reflects the aesthetics and not the mechanical condition. $12k OBO Interior photos, taken today: (12/18/2010) http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z117/351carlo/1292703585066.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z117/351carlo/1292703610284.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z117/351carlo/1292703652444.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z117/351carlo/1292703679284.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z117/351carlo/1292703700456.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z117/351carlo/1292703716633.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z117/351carlo/1292703830525.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z117/351carlo/1292703854398.jpg Put the stock hood back on it: (It just snowed up here, so there's salt all over it, sorry) http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z117/351carlo/1292703753131.jpg http://i192.photobucket.com/albums/z117/351carlo/1292703772867.jpgOn Jan-02-11 at 18:56:49 PST, seller added the following information: Per the description above, the stock hood is back on the vehicle. There is no more Cowl Hood. It had a couple dents and chips on the paint, the stock hood is in better condition. The cold startup issue is a miss in cold temperatures (Under approximately 45*F). Once the truck has been running it is fine. During the summer there is no issue. The truck also has had the starter replaced in the last 5k miles.
