EDIT: I have a video walkaround and of the car starting and running here:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BFcTHXlZFoM&feature=player_embedded I am selling my '86 GT to help fund my Formula project. I also don't think I can afford to register, insure, maintain, and drive my truck and two Fieros. So I wanted to see if someone else might be interested in giving it a good home. I want you to know everything I know and have done to this car. You should know that this car is currently a project car with a 75% complete 3000GT dash swap. I have all of the 3000GT dash components that are missing in the pictures. You could also easily take the interior back to start. I have a Fiero dash, and center console that will come with the car. I also have replacement instrument cluster connectors to undo the 3000GT wiring. I have to tell you, this car runs fantastic! No noises, starts right up, no smoke. It also drives just as nice. The tranny shifts nice and smooth, but I currently have the torque converter solenoid disconnected because it was failing. But I have a brand new one and third gear switch here to go with the car. Let's show the goods and bads: Goods: --------------------------------- - currently PA inspected and street legal - runs GREAT and shifts nice smooth - Ocelot exhaust gives a nice, louder than stock tone - New calipers, pads, and brake hoses on all four corners back in June - New plugs, wires, cap, and rotor about 6 months ago - New middle and upper intake gaskets, and valve cover gaskets within last 2000 miles - New harmonic balancer installed in October - New all-aluminum Champion radiator installed less than 1000 miles ago - Shaved antenna with internal atenna - 3000GT dash swap (about 75% complete, but usable) - White face gauges with Indiglo backlight - New steering cylinder in October - NO CRUSHED COOLANT PIPES - Rust free chassis, including no trunk or fuel tank rust - New AC Delco fuel pump - New water pump in April - Battery relocated to trunk, but tray needs to be bolted down. It's currently just strapped. Bads: ----------------------- - Has the 14" SE wheels on the car, tires are better than half tread but showing a little dry rot. But the tires are definitely usable - 3000GT dash swap needs complete, or taken back to stock - Needs headliner recovered - Needs torque converter solenoid replaced (I have a brand new AC Delco TCS and 3rd gear switch), but the car runs fine with it disconnected - Could use paint - Driver and passenger seats do not match. Both are speaker in headrest seats, driver's side bolster is ripped. - The Alpine system does NOT come with the car. Sorry - Taillights have delam, D/S has crack - The aftermarket oil pressure gauge is not hooked up, but I have the sending unit and all hardware for it. ** This car is also for sale locally, and I reserve the right to end the auction early in the event of a local sale.
