Sweet little Jetta 4 door with automatic trans. Bought the car in July of 2007 for our youngest daughter to travel to and from college. Now, she has graduated, gotten a job (thank goodness), and just purchased her 1st NEW car. We really don't need the VW and would like someone else to benefit. Pretty good shape with the exception of 2 places on the fenders. One on the front left from an accidental meeting with a concrete pillar in a parking garage and the other on the right rear fender where someone cut their wheel a little too tight and managed to rub the edge of the fender around the wheel well. (Please see the pictures for details.) Last month I spent $2300, at the dealership, to have the catalytic converter and main wiring harness replaced. About 6 months ago, all 4 tires were replaced and the frontend was aligned. There are no KNOWN problems, other than what I have stated. I am willing to deliver up to 100 miles for the "Buy it Now" price. Buyer will be responsible for picking up the care if the selling price is less. The reserve is set at $1000 less than the Kelley Blue Book price for a 2002 Jetta in "Good" condition. A $500.00 deposit is required within 48 hours. Balance will require CASH. On Jan-04-11 at 08:25:13 PST, seller added the following information: While having car detailed, found 3 spots on trunk where the clearcoat is peeling. I will post pictures of these spots when I am taking interior pics this afternoon. On Jan-04-11 at 12:19:20 PST, seller added the following information: Posted pics of interior and clearcoat peeling. Also found a small crack at the bottom of the windshield (approximatley 4 inches across) on the drivers side and a rock chip at the top of the windshield. I could not get a good picture of these, as the sun kept reflecting back into the camera lens. I have reduced the Buy it Now and the reserve price accordingly to reflect the cost of a new windshield, should the buyer wish to replace it. It passes VA safety inspection as it is.
