Car is real 242 1969 GTO Convertible. I have owned car for 25 years. Car has been off the road for 20yrs in various stages of restoration and keep inside. Being built by shadetree mechanic NOTprofessional restorer, however work was done with pride of something I would drive. Car had many rust areas requiring metal in floor boards, fender wells and rocker panels. Floor is patched and solid. Drivers side rear straightened out from minor collision and sits level. Rear quarter skins and lower front fenders replaced. Rocker panels replaced. Front passenger fender had been dented and does have filler.. POR 15 on bottom and inside of body with Black Coat where needed for UV protection. Sheet metal in primer and close to ready to paint. Frame dipped and painted 20 years ago and project buildup stalled for many years. Front suspension has been complete with Poly bushings, coil springs, 2" drop spindals and disc brakes from CPP. Rear suspension will need new parts. rear end is 12 bolt with 2.73 gears. All other parts are in 40 year old condition and will need to be replaced or recondition. Windshield, fule tank, fuel lines, brake lines and master cylinder tossed due to wear adn will need to be replaced. Engine is 400, trans is 4 speed. Both are not original to car but from late 60's early 70's with D port heads. Engine was rebuilt and has approx 5-10K miles prior to storage. Engine was filled with oil for storage. However, with that said many interior parts I would rate in poor condition and need to be replaced or recovered but they are there. I tried to discard as little as posssible and planned to use and many as possible with a good cleaning. Top material (fabric) will definately have to be replaced.
