Vehicle Detail

Pictured here is a 3rd owner 1980 Camaro Z /28- It is in good quality and a reliable daily driver. Some call a "20-footer". This car was orignally put away since 1994 with restoration intentions from the previous owner. He was "saving it for his kids", then his wife got remodel fever. So, it went. I aquired it with the same intention. But now, I have a Chevy Cruze (airbags, safety stuff for my son) so it must go agian. This Camaro is a surivor type car, all stock and original. Brochure car is the quote. You can find this auto in the original showroom booklet from 1980 Camaro and Z/28 literature. I have the original build sheet for the car. It's a base Z/28 with no T-Tops or power windows, but it does have a seasoned 350/TH350 auto, the V08 Heavy -Duty Cooling and Radiator -3:42 rear axle, and F41 suspension, including quick ratio power steering. I checked the rear axle, it is not a posi. The Camaro has had one repaint in the original Black back in the 90's, they opted not to put the red stripes back on (I would have) It was a really nice job, on a straight , non bondo car.Currently it is a good 15-20 footer and gets looks when on the road driving. I would freshen it up with a nice paint coat if you get it that would be awesome. The interior is clean and nicer than most I have seen online. The driver seat needs a recover, all the foam is good and supportive. The doors open nicely and shut good. The door panels have 6" holes from the original owners. I would set a pair of speakers in there and call it done.(I have some Infinity that will go with car if you buy it,new in box) New carpet, and the interior is clean and presentable. All the lights, signals and gauges work. Even the annoying key buzzer and seat belt warning light. The car always starts right up with no issues or funny noises from drive line. Engine is stock , No hot rod parts and is unmolested. Transmission is good and shifts nice, not issue I would drive this car anywhere and not be concerned. All belts, battery, alternator are new. Oil is clean and filter is new. I say get some gas and go crusin. Being as original as it is , it deserves a real restoration one day, until then just enjoy the F body that everyone wishes they could own. I don't see them this good anymore, most are ragged-out junk or hot-rodded or rusty beyond repair- or now even worst $16,000.00 dollars! Again you can drive this car as is and enjoy it or start the restro in mind. Thanks for looking and enjoy bidding on this great car.
