Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is my super clean 68 F100, I've personally owned and maintained it. I'm the 3rd owner. Runs, drives and looks excellent. Original California Truck with 1 nice repaint to original color, no apparent body work. Truck is solid and clean. Factory 360 2bbl, 4 spd (granny 1st) on floor, Dana rear with 3.54 posi diff. Engine rebuilt at 89k, trans at 112k, this truck starts runs and drives flawless. Factory power steering and brakes. Dual exhaust. Body is in excellent shape, with no rust dents or dings, there are a couple pinhead touchups but exterior is close to show quality. bed has some scratches but is original and they are all under cover. Doors and hood close and fit like a new truck. Truck was factory undercoated and the underside is rock solid. The underside is original and appears to have never been touched. No rust anywhere. Its a little custom with the painted grille. Bumpers are really nice. The interior was redone by the first owner. The seat is a super nice cloth material, and the padded headliner matches the seat, the interior is very well insulated and fully carpeted, including kick panels. Dash is redone and like new under the carpeted cover that removes. AM/FM Cassette, excellent Guages, Electrical, Heat, Windows all operate as they should. No squeaks, no rattles, very quiet cab. Very comfortable on long trips. I believe the wheels are late 70's Ford Factory Aluminum slots, 5x5 Bolt Pattern, they are in great shape with no curb rash, tires are not new but very nice. Has receiver hitch which I used to pull my single ATV trailer. The only thing needed in my opinion, is an under hood restoration/ detail, all factory pieces are in place and there is no rust other than surface. I drove, showed and enjoyed it, with the hood closed. But with a couple days work it could be really nice. I just never found the time. You would be hard pressed to find a nicer one. Good luck on this great truck, you won't be dissapointed. Need the money for other things or would not be selling. Sorry to see it go. Email with questions or more pics if you need them.
