Vehicle Detail

This is our 99 Explorer XLT which we have had for about 4 years or so. It runs great, shifts great and drives straight. We have had kept it serviced regularly with oil changes etc.. upper and lower ball joints were all replaced 2 years ago. Everything works as it should: a/c, cruise, windows, stereo, elec drivers seat, power mirrors, auto shut off headlamps etc.. The only thing that does not work properly is the rear wiper (you can hear the motor running so I assume the linkage became disconnected) The suv has no rust, engine uses no oil between changes and has no unusual noises and no leaks whatsoever. It is due for inspection now 12/31/10, it has been inspected and eveything is fine except when you hook up the OBD2 to check the emissions etc..it shows that there is not enough data to pass the emissions. A couple months ago the heat shield that covers the O2 sensor broke loose and shorted the 2 wires on the O2 sensor, which took out the O2 sensor and a fuse, and in turn gave it a bunch of error codes. I replaced the O2 sensor and fuse and reset the error codes and eveything has been fine since. We dont hardly ever use the suv, so wehen we took it to get inspected my mechanic told me it needed to be driven for a period of time at different speeds etc.. to give the computer sufficient data to pass the emissions test. I drove it at least 30 miles and thought that should have taken care of it, but I hooked up the OBD2 monitor that I have and it still shows "incomplete" for the EVAP monitor test. I'm not sure if it still needs driven more or if there is another issue. I have included in the pics the printout of the ODD when I hooked it up. Either way we are moving and all unecessary cars are going. This has been a great suv for us over the years, I am confident that no matter what the problem is with the testing of the EVAP that the suv will be a great vehicle for the next owner.
