Vehicle Detail

This is a very nice all orginal 1977 model Pontiac Grand Prix. It is a SJ or LJ. The SJ or LJ fender emblems are missing. Under the hood is very nice. It has a good running 403 cubic inch engine, and automatic transmission. It appears to be all original factory air breather, smog pump, working cruise control, and cold air conditioning. Looks like it has a new alternator. Has new good sounding duel exhaust. It has a full set of the factory rally wheels. They are in great shape with all trim rings, center caps and good paint. The interior is also nice it has power windows, power door locks, and power seat. Has the original am/fm radio. It has a aftermarket Pioneer CD player neatly mounted under the dash. No tears or holes in the seats. The driver side front seat does show some wear but no holes. The headliner is in great shape. The doors shut great. A lot of these old cars have those big heavy doors that you have to pickup on to get them to shut. These shut very easy. I don't see any rust at all on this car. I have looked it over pretty good and can only find two pea size dents. It does have some minor scratches. It appears to have been red at some time before. The sticker on the driver door partially peeled off and it is red under the sticker. Now for the bad. The speedometer cable is noisy but should just need greased. The power door locks are not working. The driver side power window is not working. Small exhaust leak on passenger side. Dash pad has some cracks. Carpet torn at driver side kick panel. Needs two rear tires. The front are fairly good. May need a choke pull off on the carb. because it wants to run a little rich when cold but when the choke comes off it run perfect. May need "a" arm bushings in the left front. Can here a little noise at left front when driving around the yard but not bad. Just trying to tell everything. I have not taken the time to do anything to this car. I thought I would just try to sell it as is. But it would not take much to fix these few problems. I have tried to show everything in the pictures. The last two picture are the trunk floor pan. This car drives great. It hits the road good. Motor runs great and has plenty of power. The transmission shifts perfectly. I would not be afraid to drive it anywhere. For a 1977 model it is in great shape. I have this car for sale locally and reserve the right to end auction early.
