A really great condition 1999 Honda GoldWing SE -- 50th Anniversary Edition , is (reluctantly) for sale. I’m selling this on behalf of my father. He acquired this Goldwing as new when he retired 11 years ago in Canada. He relocated to Tucson, Arizona and it has been his fair weather cruiser for the last decade. Unfortunately he now experiences arthritic hip and knee pain that has progressively limited his ability to use the bike safely and his confidence level in not where he would wish it . Recently he " dropped " the bike in the driveway, which resulted in paint scratches to the left mirror. These factors have prompted the decision to sell the bike. Only other damage is some heat induced dashboard bubbling on the dash (from AZ heat while he parked the bike during a round of golf). The bike is in very good condition and has not been in any accident or scrapes, apart from the tip over. Key points: The bike indicates kilometers, not miles (Canadian origination). The genuine accumulated distance on this bike is 31,676 km ( under 20,000 miles), and it has been professionally maintained at all service intervals. New tires and a new rear brake master cylinder were installed in September 2010. This 50th Anniversary Edition is loaded up with options: intercom system cabling, cruise control, audio etc, soft bags to go with each of the three panniers. Intercom speakers and earphones are currently on helmets shown in the pictures. These will be detached and included in the sale (not the 10 yr old helmets). The bike has always been garaged, and ridden in Tucson, AZ (not my seller’s Colorado address). It is possible to arrange local viewing, but no test drives. The technicians and service advisors at Ridenow Powersports , 7501 E. 22nd St , Tucson, AZ know this bike , and test ride it from time to time ---so , you can ask them their opinion about the bike if you so desire. We will not be able to deliver the bike, but will gladly be available if you arrange a transportation company for pickup.
