Vehicle Detail

Here we have an original paint 1971 mavrick grabber .BELIEVED TO BE ONLY 39000 MILES It still maintains the original rims, all 4 hub caps and 3 of its original beauty rings.pretty amazing for a a car thats right at 40 years old. Has a new set of tires. Under the hood lies the original 302 motor with some extra add ons. It has a nice lopey cam shaft.an alluminum intake and holley vacume secondary carb. In the interior it has had some new seat covers frount and back., new carpet and headliner and dash cap. And that cool shifter stickin through the floor. Thats right it has its original manual trans still in it as well. Unfortunitly the 3 speed was as good as it gets in 1971 for the maverick. .Witch makes the lightly moded 302 scream. No problum getting the wheels to spin if you want to. This is a good friend of mines car that he has enjoyed for a while. He knows the history of this car from the when he was a kid. I will list his info to contact him directly so you can get all the facts from him. What i like about this car is you can see the body condition exactly because it is still in original paint!! nothing is hidden by body work and repaints. If your looking for a fun eye catching car ,with its original drivetrain and a great color combo this should work for you. owners contact info is troy.manicom@gmail.com. We will require a $1000 deposet in 48 hrs of end of auction. ballance paied in full in Five days from auction end. NO CHECKS ACCEPTED OF ANY KIND. Bring cash or a PRIOR bank transfer must be done before car leaves. On Jan-01-11 at 11:28:02 PST, seller added the following information: From the owner Here are some of the question i have had. 1st questions ...is this car is it a true grabber. answer yes the vin starts out 1k93F, the 93 means its a true grabber and the f means it is a 302 2 barrel, on top of that the trans code is 1. which means it is a 3 speed mannual tras. 2nd question ...rust . the outer shell of the car is remarkable or a car of this age. on the out side of the car there is only minor surface rust and no holes at all .The passenger side floorboard had a patch put in when the carpet was replaced. The heater core has leaked over time and seams to be the reason for it. although the pictures show the car shinny the original paint and stripes are dull and faded 3rd question ...how does the car run. The car runs good, it has had a new carb ,new wires, distribitor rebuilt sounds good and pulls hard. I have had it on the highway and drove it to work several times with no problems , the transmisson shifts good. The car is daily drivable but the suspension can use some work, like shocks and minor things. the original brake drums were turned and breaks are in good working order 4th question ... Is it really 39000 miles .I have seen this car in my grandmothers neighborhood since i was a kid and has hardly been moved. Looking at the peddals, although dirty they do not have hardly any ware on them. most of the original parts are still with including the exaust manifolds and intake. What is missing is the original carb breather and valve covers.YES i believe it is 39000 miles.
