This car is very original and runs excellent. It’s only had two owners its entire life, the first from Michigan and the second in North Carolina. The car has always been garaged/properly stored and therefore looks great underneath and you can tell it has never been driven in bad weather. The car still wears its factory Dark Brown (Code 67) paint finish and for being 31 years old it looks great and has correct “patina”. Both the front and rear bumper covers have started to fade out a little as that paint is well-known to age at a different rate than the rest of the car. Overall, the exterior of the car looks pretty good and it’s what you’d expec for a 31 year old car with factory paint. The fiberglass is in excellent shape and the car has never been hit so if you ever wanted to upgrade with a re-paint it wouldn’t be expensive. We would leave it alone and not mess with the factory finish, however. Moving inside, the interior is in immaculate condition and is correct Light Beige Leather (Code 592) per the car’s door data tag. The seats, dash, carpet and all gauges are in excellent condition. You will even find the working “sun shade” to cover up the rear storage area! This Corvette is loaded with factory options such as air conditioning, tilt steering, rear defroster, power windows, and power locks. True to its originality, it still has the factory AM/FM 8 track in place and comes with a full assortment of 8-Tracks so you can get back to your 70’s roots. The existing 8 track in this car is actually pretty cool and all the tapes are still working so put in the Bee Gees and take off! As expected with the low mileage, the car’s L48 350CI drive train is numbers-matching and runs like new. The engine has received tune-ups when needed and runs really strong and smooth. This is a great Corvette and a wonderful example of what cars were like in the year 1979. It comes complete with factory storage bags for the T-Tops and all owner’s manuals. This is great Corvette in a color combination you don’t see all the time. We think it’s got a “70’s cool look” with the brown over beige but you be the judge. If you like it, this car is a great investment piece that will only go up in value as the years go by! 1979 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale 1979 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale Stock #00025-ATL (866) 542-8392 - (704) 598-2130 sales@streetsideclassics.com Showroom Hours: Monday - Saturday 9:00am - 6:00pm 1979 Chevrolet Corvette for Sale VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS ENGINE: 350 BODY STYLE: Coupe TRANSMISSION: Automatic EXTERIOR COLOR: Brown MILEAGE: 27,590 INTERIOR COLOR: Tan VEHICLE FEATURES & OPTIONS A/C,Seatbelts,Radial Tires,Rally Wheels,Leather Interior,Power Locks,Power Windows,Power Steering,Power Brakes,AM/FM Radio,8 Track Player,T-Tops,Tilt Wheel SELLER REMARKS Awesome 1979 Corvette “Survivor” with only 27,590 actual miles!
