This 1999 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 was just traded in. The mileage on the vehicle is 108,535 miles. This Z28 is rear wheel drive (RWD). This Camaro comes equipped with power windows, steering, door locks and a power driver seat. This Z28 also has 4 wheel anti-lock brakes (ABS). The A/C blows cold and the Heat blows hot. This Camaro has leather seats and has T-Tops. The radio in this vehicle is not factory; it is an aftermarket Pioneer radio, which is working. This Camaro also has the ground effects kit put on from the factory.
CARFAX indicates that this Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is not a Salvage / Junk / Rebuilt / Fire / Flood / Hail / Lemon Law Unit.
The Engine (5.7Liter V8 LS1) is in good working order. The Transmission shifts smoothly thru all gears and reverse. This Camaro comes with one key to start the car and one key to open the doors. The key that opens the doors is the same key that will open the T-Tops from inside the vehicle. The door key also opens the hatch on the vehicle.
The tires on this Z28 are all matching (Cooper – LifeLiner SLE) with a tire size of 245/50R16. All the tires have a minimum tread depth of 2/32. The tires are going to need to be replaced. New tires would make this Z28 ride a lot better.
The condition of the interior is as follows. The ash tray cover is missing from the vehicle. On the driver seat there is a small hole in the middle of the seat. The driver side bolster of the seat is starting to show a little wear. Behind the driver seat on the floor there looks like there is dried black glue or some substance that was spilled on the floor. There are no factory manuals for this vehicle. The only items that are in the glove box are the remote for the Pioneer radio and the unlock nut for the wheels. All of this is shown in the pictures.
The Condition of the exterior is as follows. On the front of the vehicle the lower ground effects kit is missing. The ground effects kit is still there on the rest of the vehicle (sides and rear). There are some scratches on the left front fender. There is a small scratch on the driver and passenger mirrors. Around the driver and passenger door handles there are a lot of scratches. There are scratches by the T-Tops on both sides of the car. On the deck lid there are scratches and the wing is starting to fade a little from age. The rear ground effects kit, the paint is starting to crack. Under the rear wing there are more scratches. By the key hole that opens the trunk are scratches. On the right quarter panel there is paint that is peeled of, there is some rust starting to show and there are a few chips on the right quarter panel. The hood has two small dents and some long scratches. Both of the front head lights are cloudy. The front bumper has some paint cracks in it. All of this is shown in the pictures.
We performed a safety check in our service dept. and they found the following that will need to be addressed. The front and rear brakes have about half of the life left in them. The right outer tie rod end will need to be replaced. The water pump needs to be replaced. The A/C belt needs to be replaced, sometimes when the vehicle is first started the belt make a little noise. The transmission extension seal needs to be changed. The driver side window regulator needs to be replaced. The steering column is loose, the entire wheel moves up and down a little bit. The right front fog light is out. The left front parking light is out. The oil and filter were changed along with a chassis lubrication performed.
