Vehicle Detail
This is a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe 3.5L V6 GLS. It has a sunroof, power doors, locks, mirrors, etc. Automatic transmission w/sport shift alloy rims, standard size tires. Good tread life left on tires. This car was a high school graduation present to my wife from her parents. It made it through college, its a good, reliable, fuel efficient, sporty SUV thats made many a trip to orange, austin, and missouri and back. Its simply time to move up. Good: Car gets 19-24 MPG, runs smoothly, clean interior, HD radio, and is a very reliable car. Bad: Coke stain in carpet on the floor of the driver side, we have dogs...car is clean and gets cleaned but hair goes everywhere. Ugly: Through 5 years of college and 1 year of medical center parking, there are some dings. Left front and rear fender have rub marks from some one who just wanted to "squeeze in" passenger and driver side front door have the customary door dings, and the rear bumper got nudged by a truck with a hitch sticking out on the passenger side. Most incidents will buff out, bumper probably needs professional repair (re-heat forming) but all incidents are minor and standard to a car of this age and mileage. Overall: The car is very reliable and most definitely a great first car for any teen, or any second car for a small family that needs a good reliable car to make it back and forth to work and carry the family around every now and then.On Dec-22-10 at 18:48:34 PST, seller added the following information: Engine is NOT a 3.5L, it is the 2.7L. As I said I thought it was by what I was told by my father-in-law, but as you can see by the report, it is a 2.7L. Runs well, by NADA list this knocks $500 off the clean retail price of $8950.00. This is by no way a "clean" retail vehicle but the trade-in value on it is still $5500 to $5800. Making it still one heck of a deal!!! Sorry for the error, completely NOT intentional, but I am only human.
