1977 jeep CJ5 This is an awesome jeep. It was stripped and had a complete rebuild. You will see in the pics included that the complete undercarriage was sandblasted and color matched to the body. It has a factory fully boxed frame that was in excellent shape before it was sandblasted, no rust or damage. It now has a ford 9inch rear end, custom trusted, custom traction rod, true track locker, 4.88 gears and a disc brake conversion. Front end is a Dana 44 with heavy duty ford outers- bearings, brakes, warn super duty hubs, trac lock diff also with 4.88 gears. Both drive shafts came from TOM WOODS DRIVESHAFT shop with long spline slip shafts. It has a t-18 four speed Trans with a Dana 300 transfer connected to an AMC 360. In some of the pictures the jeep has outside the frame dump type headers, we have replaced those with Headman inside the frame headers and added cherry bomb mufflers and exhaust to make a cleaner setup. I will include the outside headers with the sale so you can decide what you like. It has a heavy duty aluminum radiator with polished shroud and electric fan. It has a 200 amp mean green alternator, AGR steering pump and steering box and heavy duty steering shaft, dual yellow top altima dry cell batteries hooked to a warn 9000 pound winch mounted to a warn bumper and brush bar. It has a custom rear bumper and tire carrier. Put all new lights and bezels on it, LED tail lights, new gas tank and tank skid plate. Every piece of this jeep was prepped and painted to match. This is an all fiberglass body. The underside of the tub, fenders and hood were coated with "full metal jacket" body coating sprayed with a light texture and then painted the body color. The inside of the tub was sprayed the same and left black. It has XRC smittybuilt bucket seats in front with the factory rear seat. The steering wheel is polished aluminum wrapped in black leather made by Lacarra. The dash is stainless steel with autometer gauges. This all now rolls on 33" tall, 12.5" wide BF Goodrich M/T mounted on 15x10" ION wheels with simulated bead-Loc. This jeep was painted with hot hues DuPont color and clear coat. This really stands out in the sun. It is a great jeep in great shape. It also comes with a bikini top, and a full soft top with two piece doors. Hopefully you like it as much as we have.
