For sale is my 1966 Mercury Park Lane convertible. This car is a great driver it has the 410 cubic inch big block, automatic transmission, heavy duty 9inch rear end, power steering, power brakes, new Good Year tires and only 83,092 original miles the radio even works. I recently had a brand new top, pads, back window, and tack strip installed in fact so recently I have not even put it down do to the snow here in Wyoming this cost me $1,400 to have done by a reputable local upholstery shop. The interior is in great shape seats are good except where the sun baked the tops of the rear seat and it could use two new arm rest pads. Door panels are good, carpet is good for the vintage. Engine runs strong it has a professionally rebuilt 4 barrel carb, new carter fuel pump, and new set of plugs and newer wires, has brand new exhaust all the way back, brakes have been redone in the front with wheel cylinders and shoes have the rear ones just have not got them installed yet. Engine does smoke a little do to not having the heads done for unleaded gas so it has to have lead additive used with the gas or can have new seats and guides installed. Transmission shifts good no slipping shifts firm into all the gears. As you can see in the pics has a little rust on the rear quarters and a dent in the front passenger fender. I have replacement front lens for fender and also extra tail lights though not needed also chrome trim for the inside around window and misc other parts, Also have the original hub caps. This car has a clean title and is numbers matching hate to sell it but would like to finish some other projects and this is the one that has to go just asking what I have invested no extra so it can go to a good home this car lists at $6900.00 low retail and $19,800 high I am selling it for less than low retail.
