'55 Chevy Bel Air Sedan This car was purchased by my mother on an impulse purchase (she always wanted one and just so happened to come across it) with intentions of getting restored by her boyfriend but they have since broke up and she doesn't have the time/resources or even the storage to invest in a project like this so I'm listing it on Ebay for her. I don't know much about the car only what she remembers from the previous seller. The car has a 8 cyl. motor out of an '88 Chevy according to the previous owner. There's an automatic transmission with a floor shifter but it looks like it was originally a column shifter. The rear door handles were shaved off (gives the cars a great look) but the previous owner never installed door poppers so you have to open them from the inside. The cars floor pans looks good, as do the fenders, quarter panels, and engine bay. The frame has surface rust you'd expect in a car like this but it looks like it could easily be blasted and cleaned right up. It runs and shifts fine but needs the headlight assembly on both the front right and left to be driven at night. I'd say in the hands of someone who knows what they are doing this would be a pretty easy restore.
