This truck has never been driven on salted roads. This Duramax was owned and operated by the U.S. government department of homeland security here in El Paso, Texas. It was used to patrol the desert outside of town. The interior is grey cloth with a black vinyl floor and is in good shape. There is no back seat. There is no center console. All of the hardware for installing a rear seat is in the truck. The power locks, power windows, AM FM CD stereo radio, power side view mirrors, cruise control and tilt wheel all work as they should. The 6.6 liter LBZ 360 horsepower Duramax diesel has awesome power and starts and runs great. The six speed Allison transmission shifts crisp and smooth. This truck gets about 20 MPG on the highway. The suspension is good and the truck handles well. The brakes have been inspected and are good. The 4X4 has the manual floor shift and works fine. No leaks. The tires are in fair shape but should be replaced at some point (see photo). Full size spare and jack kit. We had this truck inspected and found no evidence of structural damage. No previous paint work. The body is in good shape with only minor scratches and dings. NO RUST. No accident history. We welcome independent inspections and will do what we can to help.
