1969 International 1100D pick-up, 8-ft step side bed, 304 4-speed, 4,634 original miles. This truck was wrecked in the spring of 1970. I bought this truck from an older man who had purchased it with his brother in 1971 to rebuild to use in their road paving business. They disassembled the front end and ordered the parts they needed to rebuild it. They removed the motor and transmission and set them aside. They started to work on the front part of the cab cowl area and then stopped working on it. The truck got put away in a barn and sat for the next 27 years until I bought it in the summer of 1998. When I picked it up the man told me he had everything to go with the truck in the bed. I didn’t go through everything and just brought it home. It has now sat in my building for the last 12 years. I realize I have too many other projects to complete and will not get to this truck. Being an original survivor with less than 5,000 original miles, it deserves to be rebuilt. While a few parts are missing (one bumper bracket, both front brake backing plates, the right inner fender, one of the steering rod pieces that bolts to the left front wheel knuckle - from what I have seen), there are a lot of hard-to-find NOS parts including a complete new front end (both fenders, left inner fender, hood, radiator support, radiator, grille, front bumper, one headlight bucket assembly) and many other smaller NOS parts. You also get the original left inner fender that is slightly damaged. I have other parts trucks and will help you with some of the missing parts if I can. There is some damage to the cab from where it got shoved back into the bed. The pictures show the damage. The cab will need a little pulling to straighten it out. The doors do shut but the gap to the cab is off. The floor of the cab only has some surface rust. None of the glass is broken. The bed and tailgate are in perfect shape. All of the tires are very good except they are 40 years old. The rims are split rims and seem to be in good shape. I have not tried to turn the motor over but I would assume if you take the valve covers off and make sure the valves are free in the guides and are lubricated, the motor would be fine. The 4-speed transmission I would also assume to be OK. The truck is located in Delphos, OH (one hour east of Ft Wayne, IN). I can store the truck for you until next spring or summer when the weather gets better for you to pick it up. Call me if you have any questions. Trevor (419) 303-4811On Dec-12-10 at 14:11:21 PST, seller added the following information: Additional Information: Looks like all the wiring is there, but can't tell for sure until you start to put it back together. I could not find any keys. The frame was bent in the accident but the man I bought it from said they had the frame straightened - no way to tell for sure how straight again until putting back together. The cab will need a little "tweaking" to square it up again for the doors to fit properly. They do shut but the gap is not good to the cab opening. No damage to the bed that I can tell. There may be other parts missing as you start to put it back together - but I did just now go look at it and both of the steering brackets that bolt to the knuckles are there. The rear axle is under the truck - no damage. The truck has manual steering and brakes.
