Great Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally Edition in solid mechanical condition. The OZ Rally Edition is a sportier take on the solid workhorse Lancer, with factory spoiler and OZ alloy wheels. I bought this car used from a dealer in California in 2008 before driving it to Colorado for my 74 year-old mom. Until August 2008, this was a California car. It has only spent 2 full winters in Colorado. Mom always kept the car garaged. The car starts and runs well. Upon purchase the car already had the odd after-market red/glitter paint job, and the funny crazing on the bumper and up the left rear side. The tires are very worn and should be replaced. There are two stars in the windshield. There are a couple of small dings on the driver's door and the passenger side. The leftmost vent on the center dash console has lost its louver adjustment tab -- I believe it's trapped just behind the louvers. There is a tiny hole in the passenger seat upholstery (cigarette burn, perhaps?) but otherwise the upholstery is in good condition. Mom had some difficulty adapting to the car (her last car was quite old), so I labeled some things with small stickers, which should come off fairly easily. The paint is very strange and not of good quality, with some peeling on the roof at the windshield's periphery, and at the anterior edge of the hood (see photos for this and other cosmetic issues). The car only has one keyfob remote, and one key. The only mechanical issue I know about is that the heater does not work. We are selling the car because my mom's health doesn't allow her to drive safely any longer. It's a really good car, and she regrets having to part with it.
