For bid is a 1999 Ford Expedition XLT with a 4.6 Liter motor. It was previously owned by a local fire department and was well maintained. It's an automatic.The motor runs strong and the transmission shifts smoothly. The transfer case motor for the 4 wheel drive was just changed (receipted). The brakes feel good and the tires have about 60% tread left. It has a full size spare, that has never been used. The front and rear heat and air conditioning work as they should. The white exterior is in overall very good shape with some minor dents and scratches. The red decals can be easily removed. The rear bumper on the passenger side, the corner of the rubber molding is missing. The gray cloth interior is in very good shape with only a few minor stains. There is no third seat. The emergency light controls which were the center console was removed (all the wiring remains). I replaced it with a gray center console from another 1999 Expedition. It has a clear New Jersey inspection through June 2011. TERMS OF SALE: This Expedition is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it is sold. This SUV is twelve years old and is being sold with no warranties or guarantees. A $500 deposit is do within 48 hours of auction end by Paypal or money order. The remaining balance is do within 7 days of auction end by cash, at which time the SUV is to removed by the buyer. Transportation is the sole responsibility of the buyer.
