i bought this car a year ago out of a 30 year storage from a 75 year old man.. he said the car was originally chopped in los angeles by the ayala brothers, I dont know if the whole car was built by them or not.. unfortunatley i dont have any documentation but i also havnt looked.. maybe someone out there knows this car??? this car is really solid and almost rust free theres just a couple pin holes in the trunk and theres no patch panels on the car.. its has a really neat chop it looks like the same as how the ayala brothers chopped them.. fenders are all molded in same for gravel pans, grill , frenched headlites rounded trunk corners the pics will explain.. bumper bolts shaved.. it had a lincoln zephyr seat in it when i got it but it sat really high so i put in an old 1941 seat i had with cool old black and white vinyl.. the car had no motor and trans so i put in an old flathead i had its a 40 merc block with 8ba offy heads and intake cam new clutch carbs one wire polished 12 volt generator from speedway new fenton headers (car has old exhaust that bolted rite up to fentons).. msd ignition.. i put in a brand new wiring harness all new brakes shoes hoses cylinders master axle seals new tires new radiator electric fan it runs 190 all day ... theres an old tube dropped axle in it maybe a 1937 ford axle with an old reverse eye spring and theres a sticker on the bottom of spring from a shop in LA called warren spring that use to do all the hot rods and customs back in the day.. the rear is lowered by really long shackles.. any questions just ask.. thanks brian forgot to say the backside of dash has old light metallic green paint and same color is on spots of floor and door so maybe the whole car was this color at one time??? the dash also has old blue metallic paint.. and also the doors do have glass but could be a little nicer but its there.. and the hood use to align up really nice but took it off to put motor in so it just needs to be adjusted...
