Rare one year only outside oil filler, very collectable and so much fun to own and drive.   Up for sale a hard to find commoditiy, a really nice,clean and ready to enjoy, turn key, drive anywhere 1972 911T coupe for an affordable price. Resplendent in it's beautiful Black livery, straight as an arrow down both sides, only the rear decklid has a couple of minor imperfections and one small soft dent, golf ball??, perfect aligment of doors and other panels, excellent factory correct gaps, belies it's 38 years of age. Originally a rare factory a/c car the majority of the factory equipement is still with the car, the a/c was removed and is missing, but the front condenser, protective grille and hoses come with the car. Whilst never fully restored this car has had a lot of work done over the years, the car benefited from a complete windows out repaint some years ago, from the original sepia brown, to this beautiful black paint and  features a correct, but non matching 2.4 liter 911T engine # 6135560 which was rebuilt with new chains and tensioners, and the normal upgrades of turbo valve covers etc. it is starts right up, iddles smoothly, no smoke or pools of oil as it the feature of so many of these cars. The engine is very tight, quiet and powerful and mated to it's original 5 speed transmission and is a delight to drive. The brakes have also been upgraded to cross-drilled rotors with rebuilt and painted calipers all around. The car also has new shocks and tires for a smooth ride and great handling. This is one of the best driving early 911s we have had in a long time, and really is a fly in drive/home kind of car. The interior is well appointed with a brand new Stoddards dash, absolutely perfect and sets the interior off beautifully. There are excellent newer grey carpets and matching seats in perfect condition without any rips tears or marks, as they were recently recovered. The doors have RS type panels but still retaining the original arm rests. All the gauges and instruments work, and the car recently passed a full safety inspection, so all lights, indicators and wipers etc. all function well, even the heater and blower fans are working. The headliner is the original and has the usual amount of staining and one small tear. There is an upgraded stereo radio CD unit, which I was going to replace, but the sound system is so good, it would be a shame to, so it is retained for that long drive home. The car benefits from 5 matching Alloy wheels, the original 1972 specific owner's manual and comes with correct jack and tool kit. There is not a better looking and driving 1972 Porsche around for this price, with the benefit that everything has been done, the car is ready to go, and you can enjoy this car as is for years without having to spend thousands and thousands of dollars to fix a cheaper car with tons of needs.
