1974 Honda

Up for auction is a beautiful 1974 Honda Elsinore MR50. This bike runs excellent and starts on the first 1 - 2 kicks. The engine and transmission has been completely overhauled. Engine is bored 0.30 over, transmission shifts smoothly. This is a 3 speed manual shift bike with a clutch, which is in my opinion, a better way to learn to ride first as larger bikes have a clutch. The wheels on this bike are perfect, new tires, new points, and new spark plug NGK B6HS. 36 years ago this was one of the best motorcycles ever produced and to this day still has style and appeal that has influenced the designs of today's new bikes. I stiil own my original 1974 MR50 and learned to ride that bike in 1974 when I was 7, now my daughter has learned to ride this one and has since moved up to a KX65, thanks to that MR50 and the manually shifted transmission which helped her from the start. The bike is a fuel/oil mix with a ration of 25:1. This bike will give you many years of enjoyment and is dependable and you will get your money back out of it when you choose to part with it.
