Lowest Priced 1997 M3 on Ebay. Well used well maintained BMW M3. My wife and I have driven this car for the last 6 years, we are both 50+ years old. The car has been well maintained, I have listed the maintenance items below. The title is marked with an odometer discrepancy which was due to the registry making a mistake because of minor discrepancies on 2 forms that had different mileage numbers when I registered the car. I have put 100k+ on the car and have no reason to believe the mileage is not correct. This car has been a joy to drive over the years and has never left us stranded. The body is very solid, the paint is fair and has some small surface rust as well as road rash on the nose, please look at the pictures carefully. In addition the clear coat is peeling in different places on the car which has been happening since I purchased it, this is hard to see in the pictures. From 15 feet the car looks very good. A paint job would make this car look mint. The interior is dove gray leather and does not have any tears but due to it's light color it really shows the dirt. There is a blemish in the leather on the seat surface on the front passenger seat, see pictures. This car should be bought by someone who is handy with a wrench or has access to someone who is. The car runs well but will require on going maintenance due to it age and mileage. The car will need a shift cable ($120) in the near future, I have another 97 M3 that needed the same cable replaced. When you shift gears it is a little sticky, might last 5k miles or 50k miles. The car may need new power steering hoses as well. The ASC/ABS lights come on at times, probably a wheel sensor. The airbag light is not on now but occasionally comes on for the passenger seat sensor.
