Vehicle Detail
spr29out Store Here is a 1994 Toyota 2 wheel drive extended cab pickup truck selling at no reserve. This truck runs great and does great on gas-I normally get between 23-25 MPG, and I have gotten up to 27 MPG. The automatic transmission shifts smoothly. It has 294,009 miles on the body, but it is in great shape for its age. The enigne on the other hand was completely rebuilt less than 40,000 miles ago by a Toyota mechanic. New main bearings, new timing chain, new rings, new headgasket, new seals, etc-I have the receipts from the rebuild. It does not burn or leak any oil. This engine should have many, many more miles left on it because it is the 4 cylinder 22RE engine that has the reputation of being bulletproof. The truck has a tilt steering wheel, A/C, cruise control, and a bedliner. This truck spent half its life in Georgia, so it does not have the rust issues that most Toyota trucks its age would have. I am the second owner of the truck, and it has been well maintained while I have owned it. I just repaired the rust at the bottom of the doors, along the bottom of the tailgate, and a couple other places a little over a month ago. I sandblasted the rust, welded any thin spots, and primed and repainted those areas with paint that was matched to the factory code (It does not match 100% because the truck is 16 years old). There is one spot on the bottom of the body, down by the frame that has a little bit of rust starting (see picture). The body of the truck is not perfect, but I would say it is in pretty nice shape for its age. There are some dings and dents on the bed (I tried to get decent pictures of them). The skiritng piece under the front bumper is a little crinkled on the one side (see pictures). Also the grille has a couple cracks in it, but you have to look pretty close to notice them. The interior is decent, it has some stains and the drivers side seat is ripped on the side, it has been this way the whole time I have owned it. The windshield has a crack on the passengers side that has been there a few years, but it is not an inspection issue (see pictures). The holes in the center of the rear bumper are ripped out because the bumper rotted between the chrome, and when I pulled a log splitter, the rust slowly fell out. There is another hitch that goes with the truck that mounts up to the stock bumper arms that I used to pull the splitter after the chrome bumper was no longer useable. This truck just passed Pennsylvania inspection and emissions and has good stickers until January 2012. I just replaced the rear shocks, the front and rear brake pads, the rear tires and the front drivers side caliper. The front tires are about half. The battery was replaced 6 months ago and the transmission fluid was flushed and changed this summer. I just changed the oil on last Friday. I would not hesitate to drive this truck back and forth across the country tomorrow, and I have driven it across the country a couple times in the past year. This truck has been an excellent truck for me the past 4.5 years that I have owned it. This truck may have another 100 or 200 miles on it before it is sold, as I may needed to use it. I am only selling it because I am moving out of the country. If you want to come and see it for yourself and drive it, let me know. Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any questions. This truck must be picked up-there is no shipping on this item. If you have less than 10 positive feedback please ask permission before placing a bid. This truck is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction early if it would sell locally. The truck will sell at auction if the listing is still up within the final 12 hours. A non-refundable deposit of $500 must be paid within 24 hours of the end of the auction through Paypal. Balance of payment is to be made as cash or certified check when item is picked up. Truck must be picked up and paid for within 2 weeks of the end of the auction. Thanks
