For sale is a 1970 Pontiac GTO, 400 motor, with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, and a 10 bolt posi rear . Has front power disk brakes, and has factory A/C. Bucket seats and shifter on the floor. The car sits on Rally II rims and BF Goodrich tires. This car's frame has been sand blasted and meticulously painted with REM Chassis Black. All body bushings are new. The floors are solid, and the frame is straight as an arrow. Very beautiful frame. This car came from the desert of California, to my home in PA, where I began the restoration of this. This GTO has an open California clean title in hand. The hood is mint with no rust, and has a hood tach hole. The trunk lid is perfect and also both doors, with no rust at all. The front fenders are good but need a little work at the bottoms. The Endura front nose is straight. The passenger quarter is real nice with good lip and wheel wells the drivers side quarter needs a small patch at the bottom. really not bad at all. The floors are solid and they are POR 15 also the trunk is POR15. The pictures don't show the interior, but I do have the bucket seats and the back seat, and the dash board, and the console, from the inside of this car, which will all go with the sale. Which all need to be recovered or restored. The motor is a YS 1970 GTO motor, NOM, with 13 heads. The transmission is matching numbers, and I believe the rear is, too. I have not tried to start this motor, and have always assumed that it would need to be rebuilt. It's all there exept the carb and Ac Compressor. Overall, this is a solid car, which will be a great project for someone. The frame off has been done already, which is the hard part, so the rest is body and beauty work.
