***Reserve price lowered matching dealers trade-in value*** PLEASE READ EVERYTHING BEFORE BIDDING!!! Below we will list everything that we know about this car. We are not mechanics. If you have any questions regarding the car, you MUST ask BEFORE you begin bidding on it. This includes any interest you have in seeing the car. This means if you want to see the car to inspect its appearance, look under the hood, hear the engine, or anything else, it is up to you to ask prior to bidding for once you begin bidding, you are telling us you are committed to purchasing this vehicle. This is for a White 1997 Ford Expedition XLT with approximately 132,900 miles CONDITION: This car is in drivable conditions but needs to have some mechanical work. We recently took vehicle to our mechanic and basically there are two main issues with this car: 1.) There is a crack in the exhaust manifold system which may be repaired if needed. We were told that the exhaust manifold is not a mandatory repair. If you will be using the car for local driving or commercial purposes (i.e., painting business, contracting business, etc.) then replacing the manifold would be a preference; however, if you are intending on using the car for long commutes or traveling, then it would be recommended that you replace it. 2.) The shifter grinds when being placed into gear. The park, neutral, d1, and d2 gears are the only ones working. Reverse works, but is not always easily placed into gear. In short, the shifting unit needs to be replaced. At this time vehicle is occasionally being driven back and forth to work less than 7 miles round trip to keep the mileage down. The inside of the car is in excellent condition maintained in a smoke free environment. The outside body of the car has some areas of rust (back bumper, under-carriage and driver side rear well), please refer to pictures, but is overall in very good condition. Transmission is in good working condition to our knowledge. The car is to be sold as is. FEATURES: This vehicle has a V8- 5.4 liter engine. It also has option for 4WD OR 2WD. 3rd row seating is also available, multi disc CD, power doors/windows, alarm system, lighted running boards, and beige cloth interior. Recently replaced and brand new parts include: battery, cylinoid/starter, front breaks, pads, rotors, and power steering line. The car also has four brand new tires, Bridgestone Dueler P265/70R17 113 M + 2 with great threads. HISTORY: I bought this car from a friend so that we would use it mainly for long trips with the kids and for during the winter season because of the 4WD option. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BELOW REGARDING PAYMENT SHIPPING & PAYMENT: Half of the final sale price must be deposited through pay pal within the first 24 hours. Please do not assume we will make an exception to this. Remaining payments must be made within cash, certified or personal checks; however, the title and vehicle will not be given until checks have cleared. ***Please maintain your ebay responsible and trustworthy status. Please be sure to ask them BEFORE you place any bids. Thank you very much!!
