1990 BMW 325IS This car has been a great "daily driver" for me , here in Moab, Utah, since I bought it almost 3 years ago from my next door neighbor. My neighbor bought the car from a Bay Area California owner. I'm selling the car strictly "As Is" , and will try to list all "issues" here. The only major part replacement I've done was a fuel pump about a year ago. I put Bosch plugs in it when I first purchased the car, other than that just DIY oil changes. This BMW is not in pristine condition. It's got normal 20 year wear and tear on seats, paint, and dash. Also minor dings around the body, and a credit card sized "fill" on top of the hood, and a palm sized dent on the lower part of the driver's side door, (see photos). Car needs new a muffler. It has a blinking SRS light on the upper panel which could be for a number of reasons ( steering wheel shows no sign of an airbag replacement ) . The major issues I learned of when I went for my Utah annual vehicle inspection last month. The car failed on these points: Right Rear Brake Pad was below thickness tolerance, Crack in windshield is "out of regulation" (note: windshield passed last year, although crack is out of direct view and has not increased in size, Utah toughened length of crack regulation this year), needs new windshield washer pump (yes, Utah requires it work, I know, makes sense! ) rear tires failed tread thickness. And the most major of all : Rear Brake Rotors both had cracks ( I will supply a scan by email of the rejected Inspection Certificate on request). Besides that it's a solid car, radio and tape player work ( has multi cd changer but could not get it to work) , sunroof works, heat and AC are great, good clutch and transmission. Motors always been a solid first time starter. My motivation for selling: I'm moving to Salt Lake City and need the money that I would put into the car for moving expenses, otherwise I'd love to keep it ! Please email me with any questions.
