00 Ford Contour SVT V-6 2.5ho duratec DOHC 24 valve 5-speed clean title with 147k as is. Im a huge fan and own three of them myself. They are a rare and limited edition that were made few in numbers for only three years in only 4 colors. There a sleeper being a sleek but sporty 4 door family sdn pushing 200hp stock. Loaded with Tan Leather, ABS, Cruise, Tilt, Air, Power Windows, Locks, Mirrors, DS Seat, Rear Window Defogger, Moon Roof, Fog Lamps, Child Safty Locks and windows, Driver / Passenger Air Bags, and Keyless Remote. I use this daily to get back and fourth to work without any major issues. The motor is very strong. NOT using, burning, or leaking oil. No ticks, taps, or knocks. Trani has a perfect clutch, preasure plate, and throw out bearing. Was replaced before i got into it. No grinds or throw out bearing ticks. Now the car is not mint and does have a check engine light. Once hooked up to my computer it shows a IMRC code. No egr, 02's, or common cats but a $90.00 sensor from a ford dealer themselfs. I bought the car at the begining of the year with a dent in driver side door that i pulled, and a cracked rear bumper cover which i never fixed for i needed it more for the reliabilty. After buying it i did replace the fallowing items that did have issuse too them. Overflow Container Tuned it up with NGK Plugs and a decent set of new wires Water pump / Power Steering Belt Moon Roof Motor... Does need a cover thats 5 bucks at any junkyard and can come out of any Contour or Mercury Mystique... Moon Roof Does NOT Leak. Door Lock Switch Driver Side Master Window Switch Heat Control Switch and Fuse... AC needs recharged. The Heat will kick on and off which is why i replaced both the Switch and Fuse. I now think its the blower motor getting weak. Passenger Side Head Light K&N Cone Air Filter that i had from one of my others. Oil Change The interior is in good shape, dash is not all twisted from the sun. This is a common problem with them. No rips or tears in the Tan Leather seats and all power options work besides the A/C and Heater cutting out. Could use a cleaning. The exterior is jet Black it will and does hold a nice shine. Besides the dent i pulled in the DS Door and the Rear Bumper Cover it does have a few small dents on Hood, Trunk, Passenger Side Fender and both doors. The Driver Side Fender, Doors, Roof, and both Quarters on each side wasn't touched. This came from a storm we had two months after i got it home. It's very light and it's hard to see even when the car is sitting right in front of you. Please refer to the pictures.
