1979 Honda CR250 Elsinore We are excited to offer this super clean 1979 Honda CR250 Elsinore AHRMA Post Vintage MX bike. We purchased this bike from an AHRMA racer who had been caring for / racing the bike the last 4 seasons. The bike is a very original and low hour racer. The tank is amazingly clean and seems to be original and dent free. Same with the frame. The plastic is the glossly high end VMX edition and the seat cover is new to the bike. There is a nice set of modern Renthal CR bend bars and new levers / perches / grips. The stock pipe is ultra clean - no major dents at all. The stock silencer has one small dimple which can be seen in the pictures. The front wheel is new to the bike. Now to the best part - ultra clean rebuilt Fox Air's!!! The bike cranks and runs very crisp. We have included a video of the bike cranking and running below. We just installed two brand new tires and tubes - 0 rides on them. Lubed all the cables, cleaned the throttle, changed the oil, and cleaned the filter. It just needs you to take it to the gate! This is a chance to own a piece of MX history affordably. This is a very nice example of a low hour racer that you could be very proud of at any vintage race. Again this is not a full cosmetic resto.
