1989 Honda

Up for grabs is a really nice 1989 fourtrax 300. Has 5 speed semi automatic, with reverse. Electric start and kick start.Dont let the age discourage you, this is a diehard atv, and will outlast any new atv without a problem. Anyone that knows about these fourwheelers know that the fourtrax 300's were the most buletproof honda's that were every made. With that said, let me give you the backround with the fourwheeler. This Atv was one of many that were used at a local golf course.The atv was never abused or used for hard work like most. They were used untill they were replace with john deere gators. My friend the owner of the course took home all the honda's and sold them over the years to friends/ family. This one was always kept becuase during the oil changes, all fourwheelers had oil put back into them, but this one was forgot about and sized the engine up. About a year back i found a man parting out a 1996 fourtrax 300 with the original tires that looked like it rolled off the showroom floor. I bought the engine off of him paying dear money for it. No oil leaks, nothing at all. You can eat off it!! At the time i really did not care becuase i had no desire to sell it and just wanted the best i could get. All year parts for these atv's were all the same, so the 1996 engine was 100% the same as the 1989. Now the tables have turned and are house sold and i have no need for the atv. The engine runs so good, no smoking, nothing. The carb was just cleaned and it is ready to go. This atv may not win any shows but it will be the best four wheeler you have ever had, i can promise that. Plastics are in good shape. Rear racks are cracked in a few places.All around a really nice quad. Anything this atv needs i have brandnew. Needs battery- have brandnew interstate battery in box. Needs brakes- have brandnew brakeshoes and springs in honda package. Needs front brakes bleed- just put on brandnew mastercyliner, still air in lines. Other than that, this is a super nice atv, that i can promise outlast any new one out there. Thanks, good luck
