1979 Fiat X 1/9 This vehicle has only 51,704 miles which I believe to be original. I purchased this car off E bay a few months ago. Seller advertised in that Add that it needed a fuel pump and had been sitting for over 5 years garaged. I have the old Registration from NY. It now runs as a daily driver and is titled in my name. Fuel pump, water pump, battery and numerous lines/hoses are replaced. I used this for 100 mile round trip on the NJ GSP for my work commuter with over 35 mpg for a few months. Now out of work and this little fun cruiser needs to go. The body is in extremely great condition. Needs to be sanded and painted. Engine, clutch and trans are all good. No start issues what so ever. Rad fans kick on and off and carb cooling fan works as well. Tires are good and rims have been semi restored (sanded and painted). Driver's seat needs cover. Radio inop, and heater doesn't blow warm. Trunk and engine cover releases are attached but not to the mounting plate in the door jamb but plate comes with car. Front center air dam comes with car, one side mount arm is broke. NO ISSUES!!!!!!!!!! You can't find another!!!! Odometer picture added. I did add some other pics as well. There is another listed on the bay in Cali for $999 that doesn't run!!!! BTW milage advertise will go up as I am still driving this car. Also... As is where is condition, no refunds! My wife says, you can't buy another car as good (collectability/style/reliability) for what you are going to sell this for!!!! I hope to prove her wrong (husband danger zone)!!! as I need a pick up or van for the same $$$$$ This long trip however made me refamiliarize myself with some of the other issues the car has. I am a retired Army Chinook pilot with OCD! everything not exquisite bothers me... so to keep my flawless rating, I will continue to update my ad and have a few more negatives about the car. The Pass side windshield does have wiper blade scuffs. Not too bad and wipers are also new. The muffler has a has rattle at idle on the driver's side due to no mount for the springs. The little bracket is not there. Body and frame are all solid but the little mount tang is gone. I am going out to look it over some more this afternoon. More to follow. In the last two pics you can see how I have mounted the front center air dam! The car cycles the fan normally without it and stays at 190 degrees! As mentioned earlier,,,, my wife and I took a 141 mile trip today with no issues!!!! Must sell!!! Come here and buy it and drive it home today:)
