For sale in this auction is a 1983 BMW R100RS in nice original condition for a bike with 88k miles. The service records for this bike going back 20k miles reveal that it was given all it needed in the form of lube, oil and filters. Parts such as brake pads, diode plate, center stand and others were replaced as needed. There is a taller smoke tinted Parabellum windshield in place that was just installed in May. The buyer could ride off on this bike without hesitation. There is normal wear and tear for a bike of this age, nothing in the form of abuse. Unfortunately the bike was recently dropped on the right side which cracked the fairing (see photo). The mufflers have minor dents, but are not rusted out. The bike is fitted with aftermarket rear shocks, a Brown's side stand and a few other bits, but is a mostly unmolested R100RS example. The bike is available for inspection just five minutes from the Boise Airport along I-84 by arrangement.
