1987 Honda 250R---Scary FAST!! Fully Restored (have receipts), very fast, never raced. Very Low Miles after restoration. WELL OVER $4000.00 INVESTED IN THIS RESTORATION!!! The frame, wheel hubs, and misc. parts are all powder coated metallic blue, and all other parts painted red or black. Polished aluminum parts including: four rims with chrome lugs nuts and Honda valve stem caps, DG nerf bars with blue netting DG front bumper, radiator scoops, parking brake stop, gas cap, armadillo rack, pro taper handle bars, brake reservoir cover and case saver. Factory lights, switches and toolbox are all in great working condition. Has a SOOex tail light, pro-design kill switch and WORKS shocks. Bearings, seals, rear axle carrier, steering shaft & anti-freeze reservoir are all replaced with Genuine Honda parts. Motor runs great but could be freshened up. Motor accessories including: boyesen rad valves, carburetor punched over 2mm, K&N Filter, ported cylinder, Wiseco piston & FMF pipe and FMF Q (quite) silencer. Has original thumb throttle. EXTRAS: armadillo rack, Paul Turner pipe, parking brake assembly, original tail light (cracked), original gas cap, rad valves that came on the machine when I purchased it, five carburetor jets ADDITIONALLY....... April 28,2010 TUNE UP (have $195.00 receipt showing the following): removed, disassembled, cleaned and adjusted carb adjusted float leve, jet needle, spark plug aligned front wheels changed oil serviced K&N air filter I have additional pictures including the restoration process if needed. Also I have a thick folder containing all receipts for this restoration, even the bolts bought at my local hardware store.
