Very restorable scout.. I found it sitting the previous owner started to restore it and took the seats out and some interior trim and then it sat for 4 years till i got it.. I put a battery in it and some gas it fired right up.. the oil pressure gauge did not show, so I pulled a valve cover and it was pumping good oil.. I drove it 30 miles home and part of that was 8 miles of 6- 8 % grade it did great the whole way.. I have driven it several times since and it fires right up, if it sits for very long it blows a little white smoke and it seems like the transmission is slipping a little. After a good rainstorm I took it out and tried out the 4 wheel drive and it worked excellent thankfully. Has cruise control and ac the cruise did not work and I never looked for a cause.. the ac compressor was unbolted and no belts not sure why but seems to turn freely.. I bolted the drivers seat in the other seats are still just sitting in it.. There is rust here and there but does not seem to bad mainly under drivers door and rear fenders... a little bit in the floor of the back cargo area.. I tried to take a pic of the rust areas but might have missed some.. i did not take seats out and stuff to hunt but floor boards look good.. I tried to take pics of rusted areas and there is a dent in front.. Has the 345 V8 I had a bunch more down and somethinng messed up and this is my 3rd time trying to list and so ask any questions you have.. email me and come start and drive it if possible.. Sold as is.. I will take to a loading dock here in town to be loaded on a semi trailer if needed Email with questions and email if you would like to come start it up and drive it.. Does have a leaking brake cylinder on 1 wheel so brakes are not the best but will stop it..
