Up for auction is my elegant 1975 RHD Rolls Royce Silver Shadow in beautiful Midnight Blue paint, 82k original miles, and meticulously maintained. This is a very nice example of a classic 1975 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow for sale. According to the book The Shadow Owners' Companion, (2006 Jon Waples) "A model desirability graph, correlated to technical specs and mods, pegs the 1972/1973 US model and up to 1975 Euro model as the one to have." The quality of this car is obvious.1975 RHD Euro model is a desirable year for the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow because it is the last year of the stainless steel bumpers. As with any car manufacturer, improvements are made throughout the years. Since this is the last of the chrome bumper cars it is the most technically advanced stainless steel bumpers Rolls Royce ever made.Even among the models, the Midnight Blue body color makes this a particularly fine example to own. There are a lot of white and black models out there for sale, but it's always fun to own a rare color! This Silver Shadow comes with the original owner's manual which shows "Midnight Blue" to be the original color. The car has been completely stripped and repainted once, even after 14+ years the paint still looks like new.All of the electric windows work, the electric seats all work, the central door locks work, and even after 35 years the clock still keeps perfect time. The dash features the original radio and cassette player. This classic Rolls Royce still has the foot rests for the rear passengers in the storage pockets behind the front seats. The lights around the rear vanity mirrors all work properly (there are both a vanity and reading lights for each rear mirror). The headliner is in great shape. And the Burl wood by the front and rear windows, dash, rear vanity mirrors, and garnish rails all looks great!The body on this classic Rolls is in excellent condition with no rust ever. The undercarriage looks great and there is no sign of rust anywhere as well. The long flat panels on the side of the car are perfectly straight. My theory is as long as people know what they are getting they will never be dissapointed. There are barely noticeable slight scratches on the car and I will have the car professionally detailed for the new owner. There is an imperfection on the passenger side rear door right by the window chrome which is the size of a pea. This car looks absolutely stunning and you will not be dissapointed with this georgeous classic Rolls Royce.The interior is also extremely nice. There are no tears or rips in the nine English Connolly leather hides that make up the interior. The owner of this car was meticulous about caring for the cars in his collection. The owner has treated the leather with the proper leather conditioner. Sitting in this fine luxury automobile is comfortable and soft. The ride height will make you feel like royalty and the rear of the car has an automatic self-leveling system that adjusts the ride height according to the load in the car! To give you a better idea of the level to which this Rolls Royce has been kept, I will list of some of the $10,000 worth of work done in the past 5,000 miles.
