Vehicle Detail
--Windcutter on the front makes for much warmer rides in colder weather and has storage space. --Brand new windshield was put on not very long ago. --Has Highway pegs --The rear of the bike has lots of storage; 2 locking side bags and one locking trunk- very handy. --The seat has been newly re-upholstered --Carburetors were pulled and completely gone thru last summer- has ran great after that except for shifting issue discussed below. --New back tire as of last summer; front tire was new 2 years ago and has alot of life left in it. --Oil has been changed fairly regularly --Has new battery --Gets 40 miles per gallon --Each tail pipe has a quarter sized rust hole on the bottom of them- --Although I've put a new chain on it this year, it will probably need new sprockets and a chain sometime soon. --Mirrors pictured are not what is on it now; I put round ones back on it. --Has a small oil leak at the left side valve cover. --Is missing the battery cover on left side of the bike. --I can ride this bike up the street and back now but it is having shifting problems; I can shift into any gear but have to move the lever in the opposite direction first. --I bought this bike 3 years ago and have had a blast with it. Rode it down to Arkansas and back 2 years ago for a bike rally which was quite a ride. Have made lots of short trips around central Iowa too. I am selling it because while waiting for this bike to get its carbs cleaned I went out and bought another bike which I am riding now. I really hate to sell it but need to get down to just having one bike. I will accept cash only from whoever wins. I cannot ship it but will assist in any way I can with the winner picking up the bike. Good luck!
