This is a very nice 1967 mustang fastback to restore. This car has always been a NC car from new. I bought this car from the son of the original owner and it was as you see it in the pictures. The car started life as a 289-automatic and the suspention has now been beefed up to 428 standards. (new heavy duty coil springs, new spring saddles and heavy duty shocks). The engine bay, floor pans, torque boxes and frame rails are super solid and rust free. The passenger side rear quarter will need a patch in two places and the doors have a few rust spots, other than that it is rust free. I have a fresh built 428 PI engine w/ aluminium intake and chrome v-covers that i had built for the car. Also a correct 1968 mustang 4 speed transmission that is in excellent condition with shifter and manual clutch/brake pedals that will go with the car for another $4500. Over $5000 in theses goodies mentioned. Also if you want to make it a shelby clone i have the stuff i had bought to do that for the same price i paid for it $2200. (428 ENGINE/TRANNY AND SHELBY KIT IS NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION) but will be available to the buyer. The original 289 and automatic tranny is included and was in excellent working condition when it was pulled out. The wheels are the factory 1967 style steel wheels that have been banded (2 inches) back in the mid-70's from what the previous owner told me. The orig color was candy apple red. the car comes with all the original parts. engine bay wiring, door glass and other things that are in the trunk and alot of new parts like arm rest and vent slides. also i have the orig owners manual with the owners warranty card. You are bidding on the car as you see it in the pictures (minus 428 engine and tranny/bellhousing and clutch-brake peddals). The remainder balance must be paid in full within 7 days of auction ending in cash, wire transfer, certified bank check.
