Awsome 1956 ground up rebuild.An affordable investment. Thank you for viewing my head turning 1956 F-100 Custom Cab. Yes, a Custom Cab as per the vin and bill sheet. This 56 is a recent rebuild from the ground up by the previous owner. This classic began it's life as an Army flight line truck, while maintaining its style and class upon restoration . I call it "The Searg"! It's restoration includes Smooth Driving, Comfort Bench Seating, and actually too much to list. The newly rebuilt Ford 351W Engine has only 7,219 miles on it. The fluids and up keep has been meticulasly maintained. I drive it regurly and it runs smoothly with no problems on a long trip. The running gear is a 351W rebuilt from an 1986 F-150. The transmission and rear end are also from the same F-150. A great deal of time and work has gone into this Ford engine as well as MONEY. It's bored .160 over with the great Keith Black Pistons (forged). An Agressive and Awsome sounding Engine and Exhaust with a Comp Cam. With a .588 Lift and a .231 Duration adding to that head turning sound. To top it off the Heads are Ford GT 40 Heads, in a 600 CFM Holley Carburator. I went on a three hour road trip and the thermostat holds steady at a nice 190 degrees. All the guages work lights, new glass rubber ect. Check out the pictures and feel free to come tothe beautiful south and check out the "Searg" yourself - NO dissapointments. I also have extra parts, emblems, ect. The bed is wood, not oak slats, tires are about 1yr. with chrome smoothies. The front chrome bumber will be installed and the front parking/blinker lights prior to sell. Not a perfect classic but very close. The engine starts right up and drives very smooth. This is a great investment with a military history, papers go with the truck.
