2003 Police Interceptor P71 w/ only 109K Miles MAKE OFFER - ALL REASONABLE OFFERS CONSIDERED You are looking at a 2003 Ford Police Interceptor P71. This vehicle was used by the Bradenton, FL Police Department and was kept in very good physical condition. The 2003+ Ford Panther vehicles are among the most sought after due to their redesigned front suspension and frame which improved overall feel, handling, rigidity and steering control compared to the the 2002 and earlier vehicles. Also, no problems with the intake manifold like on the 2001 and earlier cars. I purchased this vehicle in Jan of this year but desire something other than a V8, which is one reason I am selling the car. This P71 has relatively low miles for a former Police vehicle. Rear tires will need replacing in the next 1000 miles or so, front tires are goodKeep in mind this was a police car so there are some imperfections throughout the vehicle.NOTE: ACCORDING TO MY RESEARCH BEFORE I ACQUIRED THIS VEHICLE, IT WAS INVOLVED IN A FRONT END COLLISION WHILE IN POLICE SERVICE. IN MY HONEST OPINION, REPAIRS WERE SATISFACTORILY DONE. NO AFTER-EFFECTS ARE PRESENT. The vehicle has a misfire issue when in gear that I have not been able to resolve. In park, the engine runs smooth and revs strong. The check engine light keeps coming on and when reading the codes, I get misfires in different cylinders. In addition, sometimes when the misfiring gets really bad and the acceleration is almost gone (about 60-90 minutes of driving) if I shut down the engine and restart, the misfire is gone and the engine accelerates fine again. I have done the following services in the past three months: Spark Plugs and Coils replaced PCV Valve replaced Air Filter replaced Fuel Filter replaced MAF cleaningTB CleaningSeafoam intake systemThis vehicle is a fun car, even with the misfiring and commands respect on the roads.
