1955 MG-TF 1500 Roadster: Motor XPEG 1511 vin HDP46/7640 Body off restoration in 2001 Rust free South Dakota car now in Missouri. I have pictures of the MG with the body removed during the restoration process. It has been driven some 7000 miles since the restoration. (see odometer) As you can see from the pictures, the undercarriage is still clean. The white paint is wexcellent, the black hartzcloth top is virtually new, and the tan leather has slight wear. The side curtains are excellent, however, they have black covers. They could easily be dyed black or new covers could be installed from Moss Motors or another supplier. A pair of original Lucas driving lights are included and mounted on the MG with a badge bar. The MG has been stored for the last 6 years. The gas tank is clean, carbs cleaned, radiator flushed and ready to go. Starts easily and runs very smoothly and strong. All gears are quiet and the shifting is easy. This is an honest car that is ready to enjoy. Please look at all of the pictures including the underdash shot-- showing that the body was truly removed and resprayed everywhere.
