1986 Maserati Zagato BiTurbo Spyder Up for auction this beautiful Maserati Spyder, VIN # ZAMFL110XGA330816. This car is in excellent condition inside and out. The body shows extremely well and shines as though it was just painted. The interior is in nearly perfect condition and also shows very well, just take a look at the pictures! This car is a product of years of pride in ownership. The car runs and drives great, idles smoothly and shifts through all gears with ease. -Exterior- This car is as rust free as you will find, the car is almost completely rust free including the undercarriage, body, trunk, battery tray and floors. All the glass is nice and clear with no scratches or hazing. There is only one spot on the entire car there the paint is beginning to bubble at the leading edge of the hood just aft of the grill (pictured). The Michelin Pilot tires have approximately 90+% of the tread remaining and the two piece BBS Rims are all in amazing shape, the paint on them is flawless and there is no curb-rash. The underbody is as clean as the body, there is no rust anywhere on the undercarriage. The only flaws to be found on the body are three very small dings in the hood (I would strongly advise painting the hood thereby addressing both the dents and the bubble by the grill). There is also a small crack in the front chin spoiler, this is an easy fix with plastic weld, but it is hardly noticeable and does not affect the cars performance and will not progress further therefore it can be left as is. The convertible top is in very good overall shape, however the stitching around the rear plastic window is brittle causing seperation, simply put the rear window needs to be re-sewn in. Please note that the way the sun was hitting the car the pictures show the top as being navy blue in color, the top is actually solid black. -Interior- The original interior is in magnificent shape, everything from the seats, dash, headliner, carpets to the door panels are in very good shape. The only blemishes on the interior are on the guage cluster where it needs to be re uphoulstered and some minor delamination on parts of the wood trim, otherwise there are absolutely no rips, tears or excessive wear. The only non original piece is the high end aftermarket radio and the rear speakers(easily removable). -Engine & Transmission- The car has been well maintained and it shows! The engine idles and runs very well, pulls strong through all gears. I do not see any indication of the car ever being in an accident or having suffered damage of any kind. The car is free on any liens and I have a clean title in hand, this car is ready for a new home. This Maserati is in very good overall condition. On a scale of 1-10 I would conservatively give it an overall 8.5+, once the minor cosmetic details are attended to this car will easily be a 9.5! -TERMS OF SALE- I have full faith in the quality of this vehicle and confidence in the accuracy of it’s description, unfortunately disclaimers have become part of life these days hence the following: Buyers are more than welcome, and even encouraged to inspect the vehicle in person BEFORE the auction ends.
