Vehicle Detail

Up for sale is my personal 1973 Honda CB350 2 cylinder motorcycle. I’ve owned this bike for about 5 years now but a lack of space forces this sale. The bike is in great shape as you can see from the photos and it is ready to be a daily driver if you so desire. This has NOT been sitting idle for the past several years getting all gummed up. In total, I’ve ridden this bike about 4,000 and I’ve had a great time. When I bought it, I completely rebuilt both carbs and I meticulously went through everything on the bike to make sure it was working properly. I updated the old rectifier with a newer style OEM Honda one. I replaced the rear tire about two years ago but I’m unsure how old the front tire is. If it was a problem, I would have replaced it. The bike is equipped with a front disk brake setup and both the front and rear brakes work really well. The fuel tank if clean with no rust but I’ve put in-line filters in both fuel lines just to be sure nothing gets to the carbs. The paint is not perfect (hey, its 37 years old) but you will not find anything beyond slight surface rust on this motorcycle. All of the electrical works on this vintage ride with the exception of the low beam filament on the headlight bulb. This burned out awhile ago and I can replace it for you if you want. The battery is new this year and the charging circuit puts out about 13.5 volts while riding. Now I will be completely honest about the not so good. The chrome overall is in excellent shape and that includes both of the front/rear wheels. The one bad piece is the front fender. As you can see in the photos, there are tiny rust spots which have come up through the chrome. The upholstered seat is torn and has been patched with black duct tape. The very top of the plastic headlight bucket is cracked/chipped/missing a small piece. I meant to find a good used one to replace it with but never got around to it.The front fork seals seep; I've got brand new seals for them. I have MANY new parts for this bike to include engine gaskets, spare starter, grips etc. These all come with the bike. I have a clear WA State title in my name but the registration has expired in Dec/2008. REVISION! The frame placard of this bike says that it is a 1972 model however the title states it's a 1973. I'm guessing it was produced right at the end of 1972, beginning of 1973. Because of this, I'm listing the bike as a 1973 since that what the legal title declares it to be. This bike has been in a covered garage since then and I’ve made a point of starting it up and moving it around to keep it working right. This little motorcycle is a joy to ride. I drove it just today in fact after getting it out. It started right up (you can use the electric start or kick start it) and off down the road I went. This is a reliable little machine I’m telling you. To give you an idea, I friend of mine drove this from the west side of WA State over to the middle of Montana with no issue. There are not many vintage motorcycles one would feel confident doing that on. If anyone is interested, I have a MATCHING SISTER bike to this one which is also a 1973 CB350 but is gold in color. If you’re interested, I’d be willing to consider selling both to the same buyer which would most likely save on shipping and hey, how many folks can say that they own TWO matching vintage motorcycles? I will send photos of the second bike upon request and it will be listed in a separate auction at a later date if there’s no interest. I am selling the gold sister bike on EBAY now; it is also a 1973 CB350. I will sell both together for $1,800. In light of all the emails I am recieving, please call me at 360-305-6861 or send me a quick text if you have a question about these bikes. I'll be able to get back to you much quicker that way. THE BUYER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR SHIPPING AND ANY SHIPPING COST ASSOCIATED WITH THIS MOTORCYLE. I WILL HOWEVER, ENTERTAIN BRINGING IT TO YOU ANYWHERE IN 500 MILE RADIUS FROM SEATTLE. MY RATE IS $.40 A MILE.
