My new wife bought this car 3+ years ago, as she had one at age 16. She is now off this and on to other things. We have improved the car and wish to sell. We are offering it at a discount. It was mostly a parade car for a school teacher family in a small town. It had been owned by an older family member and set in a garage most of its life. We bought the car from one of their family friends who had owned the car for about 6 months and never got around to driving it. The speedometer was broke when we got the car and showed about 81,000 miles. We replaced all the panel gauges. It now shows 3,200 miles. We added new tires, new top, some new mechanical gear, and gas. It runs well, and needs little to just drive. The longest we have driven it is about 60 miles one way. It is a 6 - 200 c.i., automatic, and moves out. The motor probably has been overhauled and may need some work in the future. The paint is weak. The interior is estimated at less than 10 years old and is ok. The carpet is older with no holes or slick places. It has an upgraded Mustang tape player, and new dash pad. From 20 feet, it is just gorgeous. We got an appraisal for insurance from a local Mustang expert in the amount of $17,000. His comments were that the car is rare, all together, basic, has virtually no rust, and fits something a collector would acquire for an upgrade to V-8 or for just basic inventory. We are not yet a paypal customer, and would prefer a cashier's check with a 2 week wait if not a local bank. The title is clear and good. The buyer would assume all delivery charges, but we would help with a transporter's needs.
