This is a nice 03 Ranger that was totaled out by the previous owners Insurance Co. and will be an easy rebuilder and a good dependable truck with many miles left to drive.

I have found that the salvage rebuilders that I buy from Insurance companies are much better because the vehicle was in service and doing fine until damaged.

The damage will be just what can be seen in the pictures with no hidden damage or suprises. It will need both right doors, a slight pull on the floor and repair front of bedside and everything can be seen in pics. No frame or roof damage and can also be seen in pictures. All doors swing fine and will drive home with no problem. I have been driving around to road test and have not found any issues just a good driving truck. The previous owners oil change sticker shows about 1200 miles to go before another service is due. The engine is the optional and popular 4.0L V-6 that sound great and runs down the road like a rabbit. You can see the engine idling at normal operating temperature in the last pic. of the instrument cluster also no warning lights on. The tranny is automatic o/d with 2wd. and shifts great.

The overall truck is in good shape with no rust or hail damage and no rust on rocker panels or bottom of doors and can be seen in the pics. The windshield has a crack at top left side and looks to have been from a rock and not the damage on right side. It should be high enough and out of your vision to pass inspection?

The interior is average to above as is the whole truck other than normal wear and tear. This truck has many options from the factory that are rare on most 2wd. Rangers such as power windows, locks, tilt wheel, cruise control, power mirrors, cd player and rear slider window.

The truck has good eye appeal and will make a great truck for anyone. The parts are very interchangeable for many years and very inexpensive making it a low budget rebuilder.

Here is an example of how valuable these 4-dr. Ford Rangers have become. The previous owners Insurance Company documented a value quote before the damage of $8600. and N.A.D.A. online has a retail value of $9200. I do understand that this is before damage and salvage title but I gotta think that there is money to be made or saved for whoever buys and rebuilds this sharp truck?
