We performed our routine safety/drivability inspection on this Montero as well as our road-ability test and found zero problems or deficiencies with the vehicle. This car runs and drives out smooth and with plenty of power and exhibits no abnormalities in steering feel, braking, suspension, handling, A/C, or general performance. Every electrical option – from the headlamp washers to the sunroof – works perfectly. The 4-speed automatic transmission shifts perfectly and silky-smooth. Tires are in excellent condition all around with 50%+ tread remaining and are wrapped around a set of very clean alloy wheels.
