1999 Porsche Boxster Gorgeous Red/Tan convertible Sports Car! Bargain! Low reserve price and a fair buy-it-now price! This is an auction for a gorgeous red 1999 Porsche Boxster with tan interior. This is the best color combination for a sports car! You can drive a generic silver sedan or settle for a dreary black interior in your hearse, but don't compromise on your Porsche! You deserve a beautiful bright red convertible, and here's a great chance to get one for the price of an ordinary used car! The car runs and drives beautifully, and has just had a scheduled major service at the Porsche dealer. I told them I was planning on keeping the car forever and to take care of anything that needed attention! Although the odometer shows just 120,500 miles, you would think it had one quarter that use, as it has been meticulously maintained. Well, my plans have changed, but my loss is your gain! The exterior finish is gorgeous! The previous owner had some really high quality airbrushed art on the hood and front bumper, which I had resprayed, as it was not exactly to my taste, but now the car looks absolutely fresh, with none of the typical little chips and dings that you expect on any car after a couple years! It is often mistaken for a new vehicle. I think the rest of the car is all the factory finish, and is also nearly flawless. The interior is sumptuous tan leather. There is extensive wear and a small hole in the leather where it is worn through on the driver's seat back bolster near the door, but it is functional and not very noticable. The shifter boot also shows significant wear, but the interior is otherwise super clean and in excellent condition. It is the sporty 5 speed manual. It starts and runs like a new car. It shifts easily and pulls smoothly in all gears. No smoking or problems. It tracks straight without vibrations. The top is in excellent condition with only minimal haziness to some small areas of the rear window. The power top operates flawlessly. No chips or cracks in the windshield. It has all the options you want. Cruise control, A/C (totally redone at last Porsche dealer service a couple months ago), Four CD stereo, Heated seats, power windows and locks, Porsche logo embossed leather headrests, 18 inch factory rims with colored logos. Key with remote lock, remote rear trunk opening feature. The rear tires are new, the front tires are very good. The brakes function perfectly, but do make a slight squeal at times, which I had specifically checked at that service as well. It was felt everything looked fine and no adjustments or replacement were needed. The headlights function fine, but do have, what I think is a burnt area on an inner lens cover. I don't think it has changed any in the 2 yrs I have had the car, so I suspect it may have been from a previous "bluish-light" type non-standard bulbs. I've heard this can happen with these. Currently the car has what appears to be standard-color headlights that work fine, nothing unusual. Rather than setting the commonly-seen "shoot-for-the-moon" buy-it-now price, this car is offered at a bargain price of $9000, so you can lock in this great car at a fair price right now! The reserve price is also set low and will remain private. The car is for sale locally as well, so the auction could end early. The car is sold as-is, where-is, but I will try to help accomodate whatever pick-up or shipping arrangements that you prefer. Please ask any questions or stop by to inspect and drive the car. I have a clear title in hand. A $500 deposit is due within 48 hrs of the time of sale/ end of auction from the winning bidder. The remainder is to be paid within 1 week of the end of auction, and funds must clear before vehicle will be released.
