1973 Honda CR

Unrestored, very original 73' Honda CR250M KO Elsinore. The real deal, the engine runs STRONG. These are one of the most collectible, sought after vintage dirtbikes. Honda motor companies original motocrosser, with alloy tank, magnesium engine covers, chrome-moly frame, extremely light weight and powerful. Frame number cr250m-1009792 and engine number cr250me 1008932. The bike seems totally complete except the side stand has been removed. All plastics, (fenders, side covers) are original with a new pattern front number plate. It needs tires and could use a new cable or 2. The swingarm bushes feel worn. It has the patina of a 37 year old dirt bike, with some dings but seems overall excellent condition, the bike sat for decades untouched until I bought it. This would make a fine investment to collect, a fun bike to restore to museum condition, or a fun machine to race. It comes with a box of spares including shocks, complete nos decal kit, engine gaskets, engine cover screws, lots of trans parts such as shift forks, shift drum and fork, lay shaft, new front sprocket, new universal chrome triangle stand, etc. Selling as-is with no reserve!
