Vehicle Detail
Hello, This is a running CB500 motorcycle. It needs some cosmetic work, new handle bars, dials, gas tank to get her back on the road, but the engine runs great! I spent last summer rebuilding the bike and unfortuantely got into an accident when I was cut off by a van. I put a lot of time and money into the bike to get her on the road the first time, and unfortunately do not wish to fix her again. But for an enthusiast or for someone who needs parts, this is a great bike. It wouldn't take much to get her going again, I just don't want to keep investing in the project and have decided to pass the bike to another lover of vintage Honda sports bikes. Feel free to email me with any questions and I can also email a video of the bike running if you are interested. Thanks much, SeanOn Oct-29-10 at 18:32:41 PDT, seller added the following information: Hello, This is a running CB500 motorcycle. New parts include tires, battery, front brake piston, throttle lines, rebuilt carburetors, new fluids, tuned engine, oil filter. Parts that will need replacing are the rear fender, luggage rack, turn signal switch, rear light cover, handle bars, mirrors for the rearview mirrors or replacements, gas tank, and the front dials. The forks and the frame are fine, not bent. Extras that come with the bike are extra fuel line, parts for carburetor, parts for front brake, extra oil filter, Official Honda 1972 CB 500 Repair Manual, Cycle Guide Publications 1972 CB 500 Tune Up Manual, Honda Four CB 500 Tune Up Manual for Owners, and the original tool kit. The side covers are undamaged and match the bronze color of the tank. This bike has some cool features. It has the original license plate with the dealership plate cover. The place cover reads Honda on the top and San Francisco on the bottom. The original stickers are on the bike. One is the dealership information, another is a caution stiker next to the battery, and the Honda Motors stickers are on the side covers.
